An ode to family vacations

Stuck in a car
A car full of guys
Sounds great,
Yeah right.

One a little bro, the other his little friend,
Oh the pinching they’ll attempt!
The other two; older men, but nothing there will happen; the reasons why:

The first my older brother,
I love him quite a bit,
But as for his creepy friend beside him,
He'll act like nothing less than a dick.

Oh there’s a woman in the car,
My mistake;
A woman did I say?
she acts like I did at the youthful age of eight.

My Mum in the front seat,
Getting angry when I don’t respond.
I have but one wish,
that the batteries to my cd player don’t leak or break.

The driver is the only one,
That doesn’t make me want to jump out of the car,
Yes I’m speaking nicely of my dad,
Oh crap; he’ll surely have a cigar.

This is my ode to our vacation,
Which will happen quite soon.
I have no civilized company.
Too bad that my cds aren’t waterproof.
